What Bearden feels like
Bearden is one of Knoxville’s most recognizable west-side districts, but its boundaries are famously fuzzy in everyday conversation. The area is tied together by Kingston Pike, nearby Sutherland Avenue, established neighborhoods and a strong mix of local businesses.
Bearden works well for a less touristy day of eating, browsing and stopping at parks or galleries. It is close enough to downtown to reach quickly, while still feeling like a separate part of the city with its own commercial rhythm.
